Umberto Antunes made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fetih Piruz. Herbert Valler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flaco López in the 7th minute of play. With 8 minutes on the clock, William Ekelund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 15 minutes into the match, JFSP's Edinson Gentenaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Valler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Dario Gentili notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of JFSP's Moisés Novaes. Moisés Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Juanfran Gentenaar came free, but Herbert Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo do Valle. After having played for 30 minutes, Juanfran Gentenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JFSP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juanfran Gentenaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39th play minutes Murillo do Valle shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Moisés Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juanfran Gentenaar in the 41st minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Herbert Valler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Juanfran Gentenaar came free, but Herbert Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Gentili in the 51st minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Domingos Santiago came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Santiago couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Dario Gentili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Valler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juanfran Gentenaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marzagão's Murillo do Valle in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JFSP's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Murillo do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés Novaes was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. When Paulinho Batista came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Batista couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Santiago came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Gentili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marzagão made a substitution. Jânio Faria replaced Cezar Martins. Herbert Valler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Batista in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marzagão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kārlis Straubegs was slow to take the kick. During this time JFSP's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Marzagão's goalie and right to Rubinho Zanette. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Marzagão's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rubinho Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Valler having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toledo came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Toledo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo do Valle came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Batista's late challenge caught a Marzagão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulinho Batista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Paulinho Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play, Marzagão's Pedro Toledo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marzagão's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
