Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Gentili in the 6th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Herbert Valler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toledo came free, but Shen Yi Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murillo do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dario Gentili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Goblins F.C.'s Herbert Valler threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edvard Carlsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Herbert Valler came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson. But to his dismay, Edvard Carlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Augusto Stephen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herbert Valler firmly grabbed it by the left post. Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo do Valle in the 37th minute of play. Marzagão's Murillo do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Dario Gentili nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shen Yi Yuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Stephen was the one to do the kick off. Edvard Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Valler having to interfere. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Murillo do Valle hit a great ball. Herbert Valler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvard Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes Marzagão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Stephen who took care of the corner kick. Goblins F.C.'s Augusto Stephen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herbert Valler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Gentili in the 63rd minute of play. Marzagão were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Goblins F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Turgut Hürol took the corner. Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Toledo in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marzagão's Domingos Santiago was substituted for Pedro Toledo. After 73 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Alves. Shen Yi Yuan made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Domingos Santiago sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Paes. Marzagão's Jânio Faria was substituted for Cezar Martins. Dario Gentili kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 93rd minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Herbert Valler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
