But to his dismay, Eugênio Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paulinho Batista scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes, Eugênio Paiva made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. CENZI's Wilson Freire tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo de Sena in the 34th minute of the match. If Paulinho Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, JFSP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juanfran Gentenaar to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Fantini to make the kick off. Kārlis Straubegs hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Eugênio Paiva hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, CENZI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Paulinho Batista notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of CENZI's Wilson Freire. Wilson Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. JFSP made a substitution. Jeferson Aguiar replaced Kārlis Straubegs. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jeferson Aguiar hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Diogo de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Eugênio Paiva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Freire, 0-8. JFSP's Eugênio Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Caetano Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Jeferson Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The CENZI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JFSP were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
