Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Konopka in the 16th minute of play. Pedrão Godoi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Konopka in the 21st minute of play. Fabinho Prestes was a little too slow when Jacobo Casado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-4. Dinei Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Konopka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Jipa RO's 邓轩升 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jipa RO reached it. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jipa RO!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niilo Mikkola made a kick off. In the 55th minute SeleSantos FC were awarded a corner. Niilo Mikkola went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Dinei Pinheiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Konopka in the 58th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Konopka, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With his leg Dinei Pinheiro managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Jipa RO's Norbert Konopka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's goal looked a bit too open when Niilo Mikkola came free, but Fabinho Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jipa RO's Ramón Cardozo was substituted for Eusébio Koehler. Jipa RO's Haroldo Terra was substituted for Nicolás Otamendi. After taking down the ball on Jipa RO's corner Bruno Secco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 73rd minute of play. Haroldo Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dinei Pinheiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Casado in the 75th minute of play forced Jipa RO's goalkeeper Fabinho Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SeleSantos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niilo Mikkola in the 76th minute. The corner ended in Niilo Mikkola almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jipa RO's Fabinho Prestes did a great save. Dinei Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Fenomeno got free with Dinei Pinheiro in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邓轩升 in the 83rd minute of the match. Ronaldinho Fenomeno had several of the SeleSantos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-5 score and a disappointed Dinei Pinheiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dinei Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno. Dinei Pinheiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 邓轩升 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 92 minute of play. The Jipa RO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jipa RO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
