The audience thought a goal was coming when Evair Gøl got free with Melquiades Amor in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Jipa RO fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Jipa RO's Norbert Konopka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓轩升, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genko Balevski in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabinho Prestes saved Jipa RO from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Jipa RO's Melquiades Amor threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusébio Koehler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jipa RO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 邓轩升 in the 22nd minute. A nice corner shot did that 邓轩升 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melquiades Amor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Konopka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓轩升 in the 30th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genko Balevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fabinho Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Konopka in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Norbert Konopka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Norbert Konopka made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's goal looked a bit too open when Genko Balevski came free, but Fabinho Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jipa RO's 邓轩升 in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 played minutes Jipa RO got a freekick which was hit by Nicolás Otamendi. In the 64th minute, Jonathan Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邓轩升 in the 66th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Norbert Konopka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jipa RO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Konopka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jipa RO made a substitution. Ronaldinho Fenomeno replaced Norbert Konopka. 71 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when 邓轩升 came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Jonathan Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 84th minute of the match.
