An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 2nd minute of play forced Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 10th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Paraense hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Marcelinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milan da Freguesia F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after SAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelinho Hermes took the corner. With a little luck, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio got control of the ball when Agostinho Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 34th minute of play. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Marcelinho Hermes. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 41 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAS and the Milan da Freguesia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Guilherme Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Edgar Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Marcelinho Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s protests and gave Marcelinho Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SAS booed when Milan da Freguesia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelinho Hermes was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Hermes came free, but Edvaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Marcelinho Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save SAS from getting a goal against them. João Vítor Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Saraiva in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Marcelinho Hermes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Hermes in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Marcelinho Hermes scored to the left of an out of position Edvaldo Brasil, making the score, 0-5. Edvaldo Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 90th minute. Marcelinho Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Hermes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edvaldo Brasil. Marcelinho Hermes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6.
