Tom Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th match minute, WRYYYY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Torbjörn Åkerman fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WRYYYY's protests and gave Torbjörn Åkerman a yellow card for diving instead. Torbjörn Åkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Lundgren. Tom Lundgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 20th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, WRYYYY's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Tom Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WRYYYY's Tom Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to WRYYYY getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nils-Erik Söderberg hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Denmark's Chris Nygaard in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Eddie Asklöv made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arne Bergqvist. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Nils-Erik Söderberg made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Arne Bergqvist made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Torbjörn Åkerman however managed to control. 44 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Lundgren. WRYYYY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertram Svenningsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. WRYYYY's Tom Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Lundgren was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Henriksson in the 55th minute of play. Herbert Hermansson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Nils-Erik Söderberg made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Olav Graversen sped through WRYYYY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tom Lundgren. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Lundgren having to interfere. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WRYYYY's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 69th minute of play forced WRYYYY's goalkeeper Tom Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Henriksson in the 72nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olav Graversen's late challenge caught a WRYYYY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olav Graversen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Olav Graversen hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Melker Larsfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WRYYYY's goalie prevented a goal. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. WRYYYY's Tom Lundgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save WRYYYY from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than WRYYYY throughout the match.
