Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. Vidmantas Bieliauskas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Vidmantas Bieliauskas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Vidmantas Bieliauskas sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Geležinis Vilkas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Albinas Pauža hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eitautas Pažarskis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 32nd minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Eitautas Pažarskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Vaclovas Andrulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eitautas Pažarskis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geležinis Vilkas's Eitautas Pažarskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 38th minute of play. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vidmantas Bieliauskas made the kick off in the second half. Beržas Burnickas kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With his leg Eitautas Pažarskis managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frank Sachs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Eitautas Pažarskis 56 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eitautas Pažarskis saved Geležinis Vilkas from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Vidmantas Bieliauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Vidmantas Bieliauskas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 76th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Eitautas Pažarskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eitautas Pažarskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Geležinis Vilkas's Edmundas Lideika seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edmundas Lideika the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Geležinis Vilkas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edmundas Lideika had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Edmundas Lideika. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eitautas Pažarskis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eitautas Pažarskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Vaclovas Andrulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Vaclovas Andrulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
