In the 11th minute Alstra IF were awarded a corner. Arne Wahlnäs went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Aleksander Abrahamsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maxime Durand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Bero. Alstra IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alstra IF's Arne Wahlnäs tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Quentin Beaux charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentin Beaux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Alstra IF's Arne Wahlnäs broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. France's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Barbier in the 27th minute. Jan-Åke Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Candido Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 33rd minute of play. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Åke Nyman in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Alstra IF got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Wahlnäs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eriberto dos Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxime Durand having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Aleksander Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alstra IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Bero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Åke Nyman made a kick off. Alstra IF's Candido Bero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Alstra IF's Jan-Åke Nyman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Carl Carlberg struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto dos Santos in the 80th minute of play. Candido Bero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Peletier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Alstra IF's Arne Wahlnäs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osar Fisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
