Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts. Sammy Godts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ryan Kempenaerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Yoachim Hauwaerts came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janes Verhoeven kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Yoachim Hauwaerts took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sammy Godts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 23rd minute of the match. When Boris Kortens came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Suikerklontjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Kortens couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Yoachim Hauwaerts came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Weijnandts in the 40th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Kempenaerts.

Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Weijnandts's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Sammy Godts came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Sammy Godts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bertram Svenningsen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 60 minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, one of Suikerklontjes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Suikerklontjes:s Sammy Godts showed great skill when he stopped Chris Nygaard:s penalty. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Suikerklontjes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. Chris Nygaard made a great header on Denmark's corner, it was just that Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts managed to reach the ball for a save. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Janes Verhoeven made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Suikerklontjes's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Godts came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Sammy Godts in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoachim Hauwaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Janes Verhoeven threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoachim Hauwaerts in the 81st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Ludvigsen lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! In the 89th minute, Mathieu Wauters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Yoachim Hauwaerts hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
