Marcus Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Oliver Holub hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caneleiros FC's Marcus Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Holub in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Marquez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. A collision led to Caneleiros FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Durval de Almeida hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Caneleiros FC's Teodoro Carioca got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 27 played minutes Caneleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Carneiro. Ronaldão de Barros hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes Slovakia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldão de Barros who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ronaldão de Barros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany did a great save. Marcus Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Holub in the 37th minute of the match. Teodoro Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

65 minutes into the match, Caneleiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Marcus Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Caneleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Durval de Almeida. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcus Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Metod Mlynar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 71st minute. In the 75th match minute, Caneleiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Caneleiros FC's Marcus Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Caneleiros FC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Koleno to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, one of Caneleiros FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caneleiros FC. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcus Dias. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Slovakia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
