In the 7th play minute Aníbal Marquez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henrich Slany. 1-1. Teodoro Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Zigmund Maliar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slovakia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caneleiros FC the free kick. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zigmund Maliar hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Teodoro Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caneleiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Slovakia's Stefan Havel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stefan Havel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Slovakia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stefan Havel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Slovakia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Henrich Slany, was totally fooled by Caneleiros FC's Ronaldão de Barros, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcus Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Marquez during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Caneleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Marquez. When Caneleiros FC's Aníbal Marquez in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Caneleiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Kornel Jahoda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Maciel in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Caneleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Oliveira. In the 68th minute of the match Vavrinec Koleno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Dias skillfully saved the ball. Oliver Holub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marcus Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caneleiros FC's Clóvis Oliveira got a free kick in the 77th minute. Marcus Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Holub, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Caneleiros FC's Marcus Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Holub in the 81st minute of play. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vavrinec Koleno in the 91st minute of play. Edmílson Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Carioca in the 95th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caneleiros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slovakia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
