Korona Kielce's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Jaraczewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Korona Kielce getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ray Atkins hit a great ball. The Zapniów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Korona Kielce were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Macedo made a kick off. Boguslaw Jaraczewski was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Alex Macedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Macedo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The supporters of Zapniów booed when Korona Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Atkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korona Kielce's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
