Warriors Máfia's Mario Alberto Kempes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Warriors Máfia booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Warriors Máfia's Mario Alberto Kempes. But to his dismay, Mario Alberto Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vito Bezerra succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Alberto Kempes. In the 31st minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Warriors Máfia's Vito Bezerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Durval da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Holweck went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ulrich Stein hit a great ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Rodrigo Prestes in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. 65 minutes into the game, Mario Alberto Kempes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Warriors Máfia's Túlio Hermes was substituted for Antônio Carlos Moura. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Durval da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Germany's Frank Sachs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Durval da Costa. That made the score 5-2 after 84 minutes of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Alberto Kempes went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After 92 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. If Vito Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Germany's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Germany may have spent more time on the ball, but Warriors Máfia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
