Sebastian Ţugui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jailson Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sebastian Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute VIP were awarded a corner. Dan Barbonța went to the cornerflag to take it. 43 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Flem came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 石锋笑 in the 46th minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Select Player booed when VIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobri Karapetrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 49 played minutes VIP got a freekick which was hit by Dobri Karapetrov. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Flem made a kick off. Ştefan Coșereanu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Lars Flem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Select Player's Lars Flem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilie Buhuș hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Select Player fans cheered their team off the field, for while VIP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
