Cesar Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Peter Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hedemora's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Carolo Lorenz scored to the left of an out of position Peter Nilsson, making the score, 1-0. Peter Nilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. El Torero's Sergio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Mårtensson in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Hedemora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Gulliksson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Carolo Lorenz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Nilsson was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hílton Salles to make the kick off.
