After 9 minutes VIP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jarbas Sabóia who took care of the corner kick. Jarbas Sabóia hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist got control of the ball when Ştefan Coșereanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Meadow Village's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Barbonța was slow to take the kick. During this time VIP's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on VIP's corner Dan Barbonța fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Lundkvist quite easily take care of the ball. Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Meadow Village from getting a goal against them. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Valrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Ştefan Coșereanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lundkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 28th minute of play. Dumitru Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Matsson in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Ilie Buhuș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lundkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Meadow Village were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Ştefan Coșereanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lundkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarbas Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dumitru Berca having to make a save. Dumitru Berca was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Evert Ahlrot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evert Ahlrot really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. At last the ball reached Kurt Almqvist at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of VIP. 0-4.
