Ionel Scaeru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GoalHunters's Ionel Scaeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Negri in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the GoalHunters defense, Alfredinho Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionel Scaeru. The GoalHunters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionel Scaeru should have stopped the shot. Mazarópi Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Jerrold in the 45th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Alfredinho Negri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GoalHunters's Ionel Scaeru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Oprescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ionel Scaeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Negri in the 54th minute of the match. Alfredinho Negri scored 1-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ionel Scaeru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The GoalHunters fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when GoalHunters's Denis Oprescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. . SC Manhattan . made a substitution. Pedro Jerrold scored 6-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mazarópi Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
