Ionel Scaeru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Bhadrayu Sethi in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nevşehirspor's Bilgehan Bakkalbaşıoğlu. With a little luck, Nevşehirspor's Gianluca Buffon got control of the ball when Fabian Joldea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Kutlay Umay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionel Scaeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemal Davarcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Nevşehirspor made a substitution. Anthony Nwakaeme replaced Lv Nan Ke. Nevşehirspor's Bror Kent quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihăiţă Văduva, made in the 79th minute of the game. Bhadrayu Sethi made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mihăiţă Văduva immediately put the ball in play. Nevşehirspor's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Joldea in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Croitoru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluca Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Nevşehirspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GoalHunters.
