Amund Villarreal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sociedad Anónima getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Inko Estibalez hit a great ball. Adam Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amund Villarreal in the 24th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Berriotxoa Asteguieta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Spartak de Txurdi's Cao Jie quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 34th minute Felix Larren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Abril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Amund Villarreal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartak de Txurdi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Adam Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amund Villarreal in the 43rd minute of the match. Adam Adamski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Spartak de Txurdi got a corner. Sociedad Anónima's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kucandana Fastergaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Spartak de Txurdi's corner Kucandana Fastergaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adam Adamski quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charro Revuelta was the one to do the kick off. Inko Estibalez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Kucandana Fastergaard fired a really elegant long shot, but Adam Adamski threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sociedad Anónima's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kucandana Fastergaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Spartak de Txurdi's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kucandana Fastergaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski did a great save. 66 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Adam Adamski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amund Villarreal. Sociedad Anónima made a substitution. Fernandez Montoto replaced Edelmiro Carulla. The corner led Spartak de Txurdi's Kucandana Fastergaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Adam Adamski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th minute, Goizeder Cepeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spartak de Txurdi's Lucas Vazquez was substituted for Charro Revuelta. In the 77th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goizeder Cepeda to maneuver through the defense. Adam Adamski made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Amund Villarreal sent off a good shot on target. Amund Villarreal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adam Adamski firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Amund Villarreal came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Spartak de Txurdi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amund Villarreal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sociedad Anónima booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawang Monfort didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Spartak de Txurdi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spartak de Txurdi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
