The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Don Major a yellow card for diving instead. Don Major kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Edward Preston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Pires's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Bradley Blueman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jordão Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Antero Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Maoz Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Partridge in the 19th minute of play. John Bowden kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Carlos Igrejas took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Preston. Edward Preston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Igrejas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Preston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When Carlos Igrejas came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Fura Balizas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Igrejas couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Aprígio Aleixo made a precise shot to the right of Edward Preston. Egg Chasers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Maoz Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Blueman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Igrejas in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pete Partridge made a kick off. Alípio Vilaverde hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Edward Preston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Carlos Igrejas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fura Balizas's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Igrejas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Preston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Igrejas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Preston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. When Alistair Riley fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 71st match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair Riley to maneuver through the defense. FC Fura Balizas's Alípio Vilaverde took a good shot, in the 72nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Edward Preston's head, and flew over the goal. Egg Chasers FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Fura Balizas. In the 75th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normando Macena to maneuver through the defense. Egg Chasers FC's Danny Booth got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Igrejas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edward Preston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fura Balizas. Julião Barcelos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Infante during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Fura Balizas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gaspar Infante hit a great ball. Seth Shaw made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fura Balizas's Gaspar Infante. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Fura Balizas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
