After 3 played minutes Spoorbuurt got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Knutsson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Gronow in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıfat Yazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Todd Gronow sped through Spoorbuurt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rıfat Yazar. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Spoorbuurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Valentijn didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıfat Yazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıfat Yazar. Rıfat Yazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the game, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rıfat Yazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ildefonso Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rıfat Yazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spoorbuurt's Rıfat Yazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Gronow in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Spoorbuurt's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Gronow came free, but Rıfat Yazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Rıfat Yazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hannes Kjellkvist made a kick off. Rıfat Yazar made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Todd Gronow sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Gronow got free with Rıfat Yazar in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Todd Gronow received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rıfat Yazar came out and tried to block the shot, but Todd Gronow slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 56th minute. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Cor Stroeve with Laurens Heeringa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Hipolito Nafarroa replaced Inaki Mirabal. In the 81st minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıfat Yazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Todd Gronow scored 0-8 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rıfat Yazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Fausto Agüero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cor Stroeve, made in the 88th minute of the game. Todd Gronow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rıfat Yazar made a huge save. Max Valentijn got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cor Stroeve. Spoorbuurt's Rıfat Yazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Spoorbuurt from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Spoorbuurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Schophuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todd Gronow struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rıfat Yazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC. When the final whistle sounded Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spoorbuurt.
