César Sampaio started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hugon Brzakala sped through FC Lviv's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector-Luis Moñiz. Ivar Bjurström made an important save on a dangerous shot by César Sampaio in the 10th minute. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Sampaio in the 11th minute of the match. Gocław Wilga Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after FC Lviv's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fortunato Froněk took the corner. In the 16th minute, Hugon Brzakala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector-Luis Moñiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Serginho Viana hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Hugon Brzakala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector-Luis Moñiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Lviv's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fortunato Froněk was slow to take the kick. During this time Gocław Wilga Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. Maciej Matela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector-Luis Moñiz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Brzakala in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Lviv's goalkeeper Hector-Luis Moñiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Brzakala came free, but Hector-Luis Moñiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector-Luis Moñiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugon Brzakala in the 36th minute of play. Hugon Brzakala took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector-Luis Moñiz. Hector-Luis Moñiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Hugon Brzakala scored 0-8 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector-Luis Moñiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

Hector-Luis Moñiz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hugon Brzakala sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Hugon Brzakala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hector-Luis Moñiz. That made the score 0-9 after 52 minutes of play. Hugon Brzakala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector-Luis Moñiz having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, FC Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Brzakala came free, but Hector-Luis Moñiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Hugon Brzakala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugon Brzakala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of FC Lviv:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gocław Wilga Warszawa:s goal. Fortunato Froněk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugon Brzakala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hector-Luis Moñiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Brzakala, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Veenema in the 80th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Lviv's Hector-Luis Moñiz got control of the ball when Fortunato Froněk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Artur Rasimowicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Borys Solodkyi in the 83 minute of the game. After 84th play minutes Hugon Brzakala shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Hector-Luis Moñiz and just under the crossbar into goal. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Hugon Brzakala got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hugon Brzakala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
