When Till Lindeman fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored América United FC's protests and gave Till Lindeman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when América United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Till Lindeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frasquito Ferreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Nabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Blas Urtungo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Teo Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Till Lindeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, América United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Raúl Riquelme came free, but Frasquito Ferreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. América United FC's Frasquito Ferreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, América United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Nabor came free, but Frasquito Ferreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frasquito Ferreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Inter Miami CF defense, Till Lindeman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Pacorro. The Inter Miami CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Pacorro should have stopped the shot. Frasquito Ferreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Urtungo in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Blas Urtungo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frasquito Ferreiro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Aznaro got free with Teo Pacorro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frasquito Ferreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Nabor in the 28th minute of play. Blas Urtungo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frasquito Ferreiro. Frasquito Ferreiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 41st minute of the match, Kacper Literski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teo Pacorro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Inter Miami CF fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Inter Miami CF's Sean Nabor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Blas Urtungo had several of the América United FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Frasquito Ferreiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind América United FC's goalkeeper Frasquito Ferreiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sean Nabor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Frasquito Ferreiro made a huge save. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hakkı Özkoc hit a great ball. Teo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Literski in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, América United FC's Till Lindeman got a free kick in the 78th minute. América United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Blas Urtungo scored to the left of an out of position Frasquito Ferreiro, making the score, 1-5. Costin Bara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Juan Raúl Riquelme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Miami CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave América United FC the free kick. In the 94th minute, Juan Raúl Riquelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
