The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pembroke Gallagher was a little too slow when Mikel Zapatero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. Silviano Hevia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pembroke Gallagher made a huge save. After 12 minutes of play, Barcelona FC's Silviano Hevia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pembroke Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nalo Laredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pembroke Gallagher having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Nalo Laredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona FC and the Galway Cowboys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nalo Laredo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Galway Cowboys's Pembroke Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balesio Gonzalez in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balesio Gonzalez during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pembroke Gallagher was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Nalo Laredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nalo Laredo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 33 minutes into the match, Galway Cowboys's goal looked a bit too open when Xorxe Negro came free, but Pembroke Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Barcelona FC's Pembroke Gallagher threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Balesio Gonzalez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute Balesio Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pembroke Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Pembroke Gallagher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nalo Laredo. 46 minutes into the game, Mikel Zapatero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pembroke Gallagher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beccan Tierney made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xorxe Negro in the 51st minute of play forced Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Pembroke Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galway Cowboys's Pembroke Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balesio Gonzalez in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xorxe Negro in the 53rd minute of play forced Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Pembroke Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pembroke Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balesio Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Galway Cowboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brefni Dimson to maneuver through the defense. Barcelona FC's Nalo Laredo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bannan McPhil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Maximino Acedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pembroke Gallagher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikel Zapatero went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Pembroke Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nalo Laredo in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Arnold Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galway Cowboys and the Barcelona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xorxe Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Nalo Laredo made a precise shot to the right of Pembroke Gallagher. Galway Cowboys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After 88 minutes of play, Barcelona FC's Balesio Gonzalez made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pembroke Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pembroke Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balesio Gonzalez in the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Barcelona FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
