Galway Cowboys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Anselmo Bakar scored to the left of an out of position Pembroke Gallagher, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Horneber in the 9th minute of play forced Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Pembroke Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pembroke Gallagher made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Damian Caranică sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Arne Eschenbaum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sc Ajax Hirtenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Carlos Fernando de Sena in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pembroke Gallagher, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galway Cowboys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Piotrek Rusin was slow to take the kick. During this time Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's corner Piotrek Rusin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pembroke Gallagher quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Brannon McAaron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galway Cowboys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sc Ajax Hirtenberg the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Eschenbaum in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pembroke Gallagher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Anselmo Bakar made a precise shot to the right of Pembroke Gallagher. Galway Cowboys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Galway Cowboys's Pembroke Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Horneber in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Carlos Fernando de Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pembroke Gallagher was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Boethis Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Pembroke Gallagher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando de Sena. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Horneber got free with Pembroke Gallagher in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Pembroke Gallagher successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute Anselmo Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pembroke Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brannon McAaron hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 45 minutes, Brefni Dimson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galway Cowboys and the Sc Ajax Hirtenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg booed when Galway Cowboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brefni Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arne Eschenbaum to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Henk Horneber notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Galway Cowboys's Pembroke Gallagher. Pembroke Gallagher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henk Horneber took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pembroke Gallagher. Pembroke Gallagher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 65th minute, Anselmo Bakar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pembroke Gallagher was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 69 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando de Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Pembroke Gallagher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the game, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Carlos Fernando de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pembroke Gallagher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. The audience was convinced that Arne Eschenbaum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pembroke Gallagher was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Carlos Fernando de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Pembroke Gallagher. Galway Cowboys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. After 93 minutes of play, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's Arne Eschenbaum made it 19-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pembroke Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pembroke Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Eschenbaum in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Galway Cowboys's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Horneber came free, but Pembroke Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg had played much better football throughout.
