Ludomir Maziarski made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Gigel Bucur sent off a good shot on target. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radmilo Đulamerović in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Bucur in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludomir Maziarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leeds United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qin Xing Shu was slow to take the kick. During this time Toronto Marlies FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Leeds United's goalie and right to Gino Goldstein. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Leeds United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 27th minute, Radmilo Đulamerović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Bucur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ludomir Maziarski made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Leeds United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trinidad Daniel to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Bucur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ludomir Maziarski made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Leeds United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gigel Bucur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ludomir Maziarski came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Toronto Marlies FC's Gigel Bucur. But to his dismay, Gigel Bucur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gigel Bucur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomir Maziarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigel Bucur was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Vladimir Avturhanov with Risto Trišanović as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ludomir Maziarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Bucur, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Toronto Marlies FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qin Xing Shu in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Gigel Bucur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomir Maziarski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The throw-in from Trinidad Daniel in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's John England. 63 minutes in the game Trinidad Daniel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roman Godoy. Anfilogino Amicone made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Risto Trišanović sent off a good shot on target. Ludomir Maziarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Bucur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 于寒康 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toronto Marlies FC made a substitution. Josiah Ferland replaced Gino Goldstein. The throw-in from Budo Prijović in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's Noel Hamlin. In the 73rd minute, Gigel Bucur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toronto Marlies FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Gigel Bucur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Maziarski was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Ludomir Maziarski had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Gigel Bucur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ludomir Maziarski came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Toronto Marlies FC's Gigel Bucur. But to his dismay, Gigel Bucur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ludomir Maziarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Bucur went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Ludomir Maziarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Bucur in the 89th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gigel Bucur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Maziarski was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Gigel Bucur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludomir Maziarski. Leeds United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Bucur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Toronto Marlies FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Leeds United for much of the match.
