After 39 played minutes Scarface got a freekick which was hit by Luis Sendoa. Braga Junior FC's Edgar do Valle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Sendoa, made in the 43rd minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Gorri came free, but Marcinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. Marcinho Pernambucano came out and tried to block the shot, but Godofredo Iago slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 83rd minute. After 87 minutes of play, Braga Junior FC's Samuel Paraíba made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Natal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 90 minutes, Godofredo Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarface's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Iago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Scarface failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
