With a left leg Martyn Baiseitov saved FC Caspiy from getting behind. YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's Luca Zăvoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filipp Debabov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Klim Muravev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Pompiliu Pânzaru hit a great ball. The supporters of YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM booed when FC Caspiy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipp Debabov to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Caspiy defense, Călin Florean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martyn Baiseitov. The FC Caspiy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martyn Baiseitov should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Călin Florean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyn Baiseitov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
