He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scarface reached it. After 23 minutes of play, Scarface's Godofredo Iago made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joan Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Villawalter City booed when Scarface was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Iago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Joan Astudillo made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes of play Scarface's Dante Botello was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cambranes Rosario's late challenge caught a Scarface's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cambranes Rosario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Cambranes Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Godofredo Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joan Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Gorri in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anxo Maestro during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inocencio Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joan Astudillo having to interfere.
