The throw-in from Viktor Kitaev in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hedemora's Kåre Wallengren. Petr Putyatin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hedemora getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jonathan Salqvist hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Hedemora's goalkeeper Alvar Kling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipp Debabov. Alvar Kling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klim Muravev's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Hedemora defense, Filipp Debabov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Kling. The Hedemora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Kling should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Hedemora getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Filipp Debabov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrey Iskrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Kling having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Marc Skager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedemora's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Skager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martyn Baiseitov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hedemora's zone, Klim Muravev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Kling came out of the goal and Klim Muravev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marc Skager made the kick off in the second half. Martyn Baiseitov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Skager in the 54th minute. Martyn Baiseitov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Salqvist in the 58th minute of play. Hedemora's Alvar Kling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klim Muravev in the 62nd minute of play. Marc Skager kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipp Debabov in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvar Kling saved Hedemora from getting behind. Jakob Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Alvar Kling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipp Debabov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Salqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Filipp Debabov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Caspiy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipp Debabov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klim Muravev in the 95th minute of play forced Hedemora's goalkeeper Alvar Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Caspiy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hedemora had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
