When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Adolfo Etxepare put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jaime Afonso. Honorio Vela shot from long distance in the 14th minute, but Artemio Edwardo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jaime Afonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Etxepare went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Adolfo Etxepare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coupon Busters II AR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some careless play in the ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ defense, Adolfo Etxepare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Afonso. The ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Afonso should have stopped the shot. After 29 played minutes ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ got a freekick which was hit by Justino Filipo. Fernando Quexal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Coupon Busters II AR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Garin to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Santana came free, but Jaime Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Coupon Busters II AR getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vladimiro Garin hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Fernando Elodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Edwardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Coupon Busters II AR were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Martino made a kick off. When Clemente Martino came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Martino couldn't finish the play. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Placido Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Santana came free, but Jaime Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Carlomagno got free with Jaime Afonso in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Valentin Duardo took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jaime Afonso to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Coupon Busters II AR's Jeremias Milian got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Flavio Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Coupon Busters II AR booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
