With 2 minutes on the clock, Vinicio Laurendi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pelagius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Bras in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Bras came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 12 in the game by Ramiro Lore from a close distance when the talented Arnoldo Chale managed to make a qualified save. BULFUT GALAXY CF's players were relieved. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by BULFUT GALAXY CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramiro Lore was slow to take the kick. During this time OLYMPIACOS FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th minute, Evaristo Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Mergildo in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Guilabertus to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Chale having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Cirilo Chayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLYMPIACOS FC and the BULFUT GALAXY CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BULFUT GALAXY CF booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Constantino Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Albino James shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Oto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When BULFUT GALAXY CF's Guido Fix in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OLYMPIACOS FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Remigio Mergildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Oto was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by BULFUT GALAXY CF's Guido Fix. But to his dismay, Guido Fix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Evaristo Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Chale having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ramiro Lore made the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by BULFUT GALAXY CF's Felipe Bras. But to his dismay, Felipe Bras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Oscar Kauldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Oscar Kauldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Felipe Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Guilabertus in the 62nd minute of the match. The corner led OLYMPIACOS FC's Everardo Bermudez to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Chale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Remigio Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Lore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Chale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Remigio Mergildo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnoldo Chale came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPIACOS FC's Everardo Bermudez. But to his dismay, Everardo Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Fix in the 94th minute of play. The BULFUT GALAXY CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BULFUT GALAXY CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
