Jaime Afonso came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Ulises Eudoxio. But to his dismay, Ulises Eudoxio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bruno Quiroga succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Amador Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Ursino couldn't finish the play. Donato Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 2-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Amador Ursino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Melquiades Gaztea got control of the ball when Rodolfo Otsoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melquiades Gaztea was a little too slow when Clemente Martino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Martino in the 35th minute of play forced 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s goalkeeper Melquiades Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Martino in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Clemente Martino got a free kick in the 40th minute. Faustino Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Melquiades Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Gaztea made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Fernando Elodio sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Ulises Eudoxio made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Rodolfo Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Martino in the 65th minute of play forced 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s goalkeeper Melquiades Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Elodio in the 66th minute of play. Jaime Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Erasmo Velasco hit a great ball. Rodolfo Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Gaztea having to interfere. If Clemente Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Otsoko in the 83rd minute of play. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Melquiades Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Elodio in the 85th minute of play. Melquiades Gaztea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Anibal Bibiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ and the ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Bibiano. In the 90th minute Fernando Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Amador Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
