In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Under 18 Universe. Atalan Maruf stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaime Afonso. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Asrın Peyami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kadri Coşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tahsin Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Martino in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Under 18 Universe defense, Ciriaco Oinaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tahsin Orguntay. The Under 18 Universe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tahsin Orguntay should have stopped the shot. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadri Coşan in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Filipo to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Görkem Mümtaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Santiago Ermengol charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 36 played minutes ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ got a freekick which was hit by Justino Filipo. After a rather tough play, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Justino Filipo got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Under 18 Universe getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Asrın Peyami hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktuğ Boysel to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kadri Coşan made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ümit Akersoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Afonso was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Aimar to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Fernando Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Orguntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Ermengol hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hulusi Berkman took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Afonso. Jaime Afonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Akersoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jaime Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadri Coşan in the 91st minute of play. Tahsin Orguntay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Martino in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Hulusi Berkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Under 18 Universe's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulusi Berkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Under 18 Universe had won after a very even match.
