In the 15th minute of the match Momentum FC got a corner. Montevideo City Torque's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Lordi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Carlos Auzqui almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte did a great save. Benigno Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Momentum FC's Faustino Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betadur Medel in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carlos Auzqui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manoel Loarte was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Betadur Medel came free, but Faustino Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Loarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Amato in the 28th minute of the match. Momentum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo City Torque the free kick. Eteokles Antoniadis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes, Montevideo City Torque's Claris Gutierrez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Quinten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevideo City Torque reached it. Manoel Loarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Amato's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Auzqui to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Momentum FC's Dalmacio Lugo got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Amato came free, but Manoel Loarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Amato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manoel Loarte having to make a save. Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Amato in the 70th minute of play. Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Manoel Loarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martinez Garantos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Manoel Loarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Benigno Amato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Benigno Amato made a precise shot to the right of Manoel Loarte. Montevideo City Torque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Manoel Loarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Amato in the 92nd minute of the match. Benigno Amato struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Manoel Loarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momentum FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dalmacio Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Loarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Momentum FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
