The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Momentum FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Auzqui charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Auzqui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Auzqui. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Amato in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Nataniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Eteokles Antoniadis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Momentum FC's Eteokles Antoniadis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iker Transito in the 14 minute of the game. Dalmacio Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Nataniel having to interfere. Benigno Amato might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Nataniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Amato ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Amato. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Benigno Amato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Nataniel came out of the goal and Benigno Amato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Refugio during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cecilio Refugio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Benigno Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Tercero to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match, Benigno Amato got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnulfo Nataniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Auzqui came free, but Arnulfo Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Quirce to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Lordi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnulfo Nataniel. Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, Benigno Amato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Amato in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Amato came free, but Arnulfo Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Benigno Amato put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnulfo Nataniel.
