In the 12th match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dado Pršo to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Jandryca came free, but Maximino Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Ferran had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Dado Pršo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match FC WAWER got a corner. Spams's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rostyslav Leonenko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rostyslav Leonenko made a great header on FC WAWER's corner, it was just that Spams's Maximino Urtsin managed to reach the ball for a save. David Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Wellington Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Spams fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC WAWER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
