Sixto Gurutz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Beat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When Dalmacio Lugo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Lugo couldn't finish the play. Gaueko Nanclares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Delmiro Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gaueko Nanclares came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaueko Nanclares couldn't finish the play. Gao Fei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaueko Nanclares went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gaueko Nanclares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares in the 40th minute of play. When Gaueko Nanclares came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaueko Nanclares couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaueko Nanclares made a kick off. Momentum FC's Felix Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yohan Carbonero in the 51st minute of play. Real Racing Club's Gao Fei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 53rd minute of play. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Gurutz. When Du fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Du a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Du hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Avellaneda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gao Fei. Real Racing Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gao Fei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Sixto Gurutz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Beat, 2-1. Oso Sigali charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oso Sigali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Benigno Amato made a precise shot to the right of Gao Fei. Real Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Sixto Gurutz got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 84th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Momentum FC's Benigno Amato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gao Fei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Momentum FC had won after a very even match.
