When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Silas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yohan Carbonero, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 63 played minutes Qjos MiLLano got a freekick which was hit by Dmitry Ilyushin. When Yohan Carbonero fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Yohan Carbonero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Yohan Carbonero hit a great ball. During the 66th minute of the match Magno Cerezo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Magno Cerezo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Cerezo to maneuver through the defense.
