An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Messias in the 5th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gul Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Mnich in the 6th minute of play. Nat Cawood kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slawomir Sniegowski in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gul Keep prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Slawomir Sniegowski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep. Gul Keep was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Sniegowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gul Keep was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Slawomir Sniegowski put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gul Keep. Gul Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaç Hendekli in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Garlic Eaters defense, Slawomir Sniegowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gul Keep. The Garlic Eaters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gul Keep should have stopped the shot. Slawomir Sniegowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gul Keep having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Artaç Hendekli came free, but Gul Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Sniegowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gul Keep was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Gul Keep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Slawomir Sniegowski's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a little luck, STAL ST WOLA's Radoslaw Bielecki got control of the ball when Nat Cawood tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slawomir Sniegowski in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Nat Cawood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gez Barber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Radoslaw Bielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Roque Pirro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep. Gul Keep was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gul Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gul Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Sniegowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Hammond's late challenge caught a STAL ST WOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Hammond helped the player get up and apologised. Robert Hammond kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slawomir Sniegowski in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gul Keep saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Nat Cawood got a free kick in the 76th minute. Slawomir Sniegowski struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gul Keep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STAL ST WOLA. Artaç Hendekli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gul Keep made a huge save. With his leg Gul Keep managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when STAL ST WOLA's Slawomir Sniegowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Slawomir Sniegowskis short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Gul Keep to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 87 minutes, Stephen Walton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garlic Eaters and the STAL ST WOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Stephen Walton got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Slawomir Sniegowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gul Keep was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. A collision led to STAL ST WOLA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lionel Messias hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Lionel Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Slawomir Sniegowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gul Keep. Slawomir Sniegowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The STAL ST WOLA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing STAL ST WOLA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
