The Real Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gao Fei should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Pomelov came free, but Gao Fei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Húmi Pomelin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Gao Fei 15 minutes into the match. Sixto Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Maiorga having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Yohan Carbonero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 36th minute, Yohan Carbonero made a precise shot to the right of Albino Maiorga. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 40 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goalkeeper Gao Fei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Húmi Pomelin. Gao Fei made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Gaspar Pomelov sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Sixto Gurutz made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Gurutz. In the 60th minute, Celso Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. J.P. Drugi might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gao Fei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. J.P. Drugi ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixto Gurutz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albino Maiorga. That made the score 2-3 in the 62 minute of play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gaspar Pomelov got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gao Fei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Pomelov went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.P. Drugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Real Racing Club's Yohan Carbonero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Gaspar Pomelov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Pomelov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gao Fei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gao Fei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Pomelov in the 84th minute of the match. Albino Maiorga made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Sixto Gurutz sent off a good shot on target. Du lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Húmi Pomelin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Racing Club's Gao Fei. 5-4. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
