When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sped through Hahay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Espen Granerud. Karel Kacharov kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Kepa Arrizabalaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Olejarz in the 32nd minute of play. Segundo Hanot lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute, one of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka. After 36 minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga managed, with a little bit of luck, save Witalis Tamulewicz's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Kepa Arrizabalaga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Espen Granerud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka. Kepa Arrizabalaga came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Witalis Tamulewicz. But to his dismay, Witalis Tamulewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

Hahay made a substitution. Arkadiusz Walec replaced Walery Roman. The wind increased when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got free with Espen Granerud in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Walec in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Hahay's Videl Pando seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Videl Pando the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hahay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Videl Pando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 61 minutes into the game, one of Hahay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Espen Granerud had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Aaron Jokin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Gustavo-Hernán Egoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Espen Granerud was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Wilfredo Bieito hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Bengt-Arne Åberg was substituted for Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. Espen Granerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ke Xun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
