Lapachito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lapachito's Baltasar Corderall got a free kick in the 8th minute. A hard shot 10 in the game by Gualterio Veto from a close distance when the talented Ciro Aimar managed to make a qualified save. Lapachito's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the match, Gualterio Veto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Aimar. Lapachito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Veto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gualterio Veto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spams's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Veto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Aimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Beila to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Aimar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Gualterio Veto sped through Lapachito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Aimar. In the 30th minute, one of Lapachito:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lapachito. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Spams. Simon Venceslao stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciro Aimar. 6-0. Lapachito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Gualterio Veto scored to the left of an out of position Ciro Aimar, making the score, 7-0. 40 minutes into the match, Gualterio Veto notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Lapachito's Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th match minute, Lapachito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Firman to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Spams's Gualterio Veto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

Spams made a substitution. Elias James replaced Simon Venceslao. The wind increased when Ante Rebić made the kick off in the second half. Lapachito's Ciro Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ante Rebić in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lapachito defense, Ante Rebić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Aimar. The Lapachito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Aimar should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lapachito's goalkeeper Ciro Aimar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pascual Tonio's late challenge caught a Lapachito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Tonio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Pascual Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Aimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Beila went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Lapachito defense, Domingos Errolan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Aimar. The Lapachito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Aimar should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Ante Rebić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Aimar was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Ante Rebić took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. The supporters of Lapachito booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ante Rebić took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. After a rather tough play, Spams's Domagoj Vida got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nereo Crescencio hit a great ball. Lapachito's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
