Eliézer Zanette's late challenge caught a Cachiyuyo EAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliézer Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Laurin in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Calixto to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Imbituba - FSCMZ's Cristóvão Linares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cecilio Refugio. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Cristóvão Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecilio Refugio. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Refugio should have stopped the shot. Cecilio Refugio was a little too slow when Vitório de Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. When Fiori Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imbituba - FSCMZ's protests and gave Fiori Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Rodriguinho de Queirós came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachiyuyo EAS's Natalio Laurin. But to his dismay, Natalio Laurin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 34th minute, Diguinho Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloísio Catarinense in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cecilio Refugio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Cecilio Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diguinho Magalhães in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Refugio saved Cachiyuyo EAS from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Aloísio Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fábio Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cecilio Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Calixto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Vitório de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Amadeo Justin in the 69th minute really tested Rodriguinho de Queirós's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cecilio Refugio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Melchor Calixto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Cachiyuyo EAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Imbituba - FSCMZ. William Breckenfeld stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cecilio Refugio. 5-1. In the 76th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Laurin in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho de Queirós saved Imbituba - FSCMZ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Catarinense in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Refugio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Diguinho Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 92 minutes, William Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cachiyuyo EAS's Cecilio Refugio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Catarinense in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Imbituba - FSCMZ booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Breckenfeld in the 98th minute of play. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
