German Iraido struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Stipe Pletikosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Racing Club. Real Racing Club's Elpidio Bala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Veto in the 4th minute of play. Ubaldo Eliu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Elpidio Bala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Errolan in the 10th minute of play. Eusebio Odol hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Domingos Errolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Bala having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Gualterio Veto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elpidio Bala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Veto's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Côme Concha scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stipe Pletikosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Venceslao came free, but Elpidio Bala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Bala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Beila in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Odol to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Igor Tudor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Bala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elpidio Bala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Spams were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Spams's Elias James was substituted for Simon Venceslao. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Côme Concha to make the kick off. Real Racing Club's Elpidio Bala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Beila in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Real Racing Club's Elpidio Bala got control of the ball when Domingos Errolan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Domingos Errolan took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Elpidio Bala to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute, Elias James got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Bala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ante Rebić in the 80th minute. Eusebio Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Larpe to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Tudor to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Côme Concha made a precise shot to the right of Stipe Pletikosa. Spams's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 96th minute, Côme Concha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Spams supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spams would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
