In the 20thth minute of the game Aloísio Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lapachito's Ciro Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Lapachito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. William Breckenfeld hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Imbituba - FSCMZ were the better team. Imbituba - FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
