The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Rex Scania MFF's Osvald Blanck got control of the ball when Cristóvão Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitório de Medeiros scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvald Blanck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Rydelius during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rex Scania MFF's Birger Rydelius got a free kick in the 21st minute. Osvald Blanck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Linares in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Cristóvão Linares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Rodriguinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Rydelius in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Osvald Blanck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Cristóvão Linares could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Osvald Blanck however easily saved by the left post. If Cristóvão Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Rydelius to make the kick off. William Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvald Blanck having to interfere. When Imbituba - FSCMZ's Aloísio Catarinense in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rex Scania MFF's goalie prevented a goal. Osvald Blanck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristóvão Linares might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvald Blanck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Linares ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Aloísio Catarinense notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Rex Scania MFF's Osvald Blanck. Osvald Blanck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Rex Scania MFF defense, Cristóvão Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Blanck. The Rex Scania MFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Blanck should have stopped the shot. Diguinho Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Osvald Blanck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Bengt Wester was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rex Scania MFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imbituba - FSCMZ the free kick. Osvald Blanck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvald Blanck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Linares in the 76th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Aloísio Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbituba - FSCMZ and the Rex Scania MFF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 85 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Linares notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Rex Scania MFF's Osvald Blanck. Osvald Blanck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 87 minutes, Aloísio Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rex Scania MFF's Osvald Blanck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Magalhães in the 97th minute of play.
