Edelmiro Derwin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes, Victor Bernabel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galáctico Azul FC™ and the Cachiyuyo EAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cecilio Refugio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Vincent's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Cecilio Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Magdaleno went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Guillermo Miliano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáctico Azul FC™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Miliano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Refugio was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Tiso replaced Maximo Cutberto. When Casimiro Ellande came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Galáctico Azul FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Ellande couldn't finish the play. Eulalio Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Refugio having to interfere.
