Birger Rydelius started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dé Toscano sped through Rex Scania MFF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osvald Blanck. 21 minutes into the game, Lúcio Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Osvald Blanck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes Rex Scania MFF got a freekick which was hit by Alf Jonsson. Osvald Blanck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Maranhense in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Rex Scania MFF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bengt Wester hit a great ball. Osvald Blanck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Rex Scania MFF booed when Primatas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvald Blanck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubens Alcântara went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Rex Scania MFF defense, Tiago Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Blanck. The Rex Scania MFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Blanck should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Rex Scania MFF's zone, Lúcio Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvald Blanck came out of the goal and Lúcio Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lúcio Maranhense to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvério Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Lúcio Maranhense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvald Blanck. The goal made the score 0-9. Primatas FC made a substitution. Arlindo Madureira replaced Tiago Fantini. Osvald Blanck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Maranhense got free with Osvald Blanck in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lúcio Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emerson Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Blanck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lúcio Maranhense in the 88th minute. Rex Scania MFF's Osvald Blanck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Alcântara in the 93rd minute of play. Primatas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
